Victoria Beckham Is Reportedly ‘In Pieces’ Amid Alleged Marriage Troubles With David

It doesn’t sound like things are getting much better between the Beckhams. Just one week after David called his marriage “complicated” and “hard work,” Victoria has reportedly reached her breaking point.

“She’s in pieces over it and is clinging on in the hope that things will turn around. It feels like crunch time for Brand Beckham,” a source close to the couple told Heat magazine. They both know they can’t go on like this.”

The source added that the designer is trying to hold everything together. “She’s so close to the edge right now,” they told the publication of the couple, who have been married for nearly 20 years and have four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. “David doesn’t seem to care anymore about how people perceive their marriage, and he doesn’t want to try to portray a perfect life in the public when they are going through a tough period of their relationship.”

The news comes just after a separate insider revealed to In Touch exclusively that the duo is basically crumbling in the public eye. “Victoria and David are leading separate lives,” a source tells us. In the weeks leading up to their 19th wedding anniversary on July 4, their rep branded widespread rumors of an impending divorce “nonsense.” But a second insider said friends “wouldn’t be surprised” if David, 43, and Victoria, 44, announced that they’re splitting, noting, “They have been able to make it work so far, but the cracks are showing.”

In fact, these days David and Victoria are rarely together. “David is in LA a lot and often hangs out at private members’ clubs with his guy friends,” our source continued. “He’s also been spending time in Miami, where he’s launched a soccer team, whereas Victoria prefers being in the UK.”
