Valerie Fairman May Have Been Engaged and Pregnant Before She Died (REPORT)

Our continued thoughts are with Valerie Fairman‘s loved ones in the wake of this tragedy.

The 16 & Pregnant alum died at age 23 after a suspected overdose on on Dec. 22 — and now a new report claims that little Nevaeh‘s mother may have been pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend, Russ Bosi, before she passed away.

“Valerie tried telling him she was pregnant months ago, but that turned out to be false. Russ did post on Facebook around summer that they were engaged,” his sister Alicia told Hollywood Life. “When Russ visited in September, he and Valerie weren’t engaged at that time. I think it was an, ‘I love you, we’re engaged,’ and when someone was mad, one of them would break it off.”

“It was back and forth, I never took it seriously. I really hope she wasn’t pregnant when she passed, that would be horrible.”

In Touch previously reported that Valerie was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of her friend’s home that she was visiting in PA, and when she didn’t come out for a long time her friend was repeatedly calling her and didn’t get an answer. She eventually broke down the bathroom door.

Toxicology tests are being conducted to determine her exact cause of death. Her mother, Janice Fairman, explained that she’s been to rehab several times and was determined to get sober.

She also told E! News that she currently has custody of Val’s seven-year-old daughter, who seems to be coping with the loss well.

“She’s doing very well. She wanted to go to school because of the parties today so I let her go to school, and the counselor said she’s doing very well. She talked to her twice. She’s surrounded by support and friends,” Janice revealed on Tuesday.
