On Sept. 13, Tyler Baltierra and his wife, Catelynn Lowell, announced they're expecting baby No. 3, but not everyone is happy for them. Dozens of trolls came out in full force, claiming the Teen Mom OG couple — who have been outspoken about depression in the past — aren't ready for another child. Now, Tyler is firing back.
"THIS. RIGHT. HERE...NAILED IT!!!" he captioned a tweet of a fan who defended the dad. "If no one with depression had kids the world would start shrinking at an alarming rate," they wrote. "If you are one of the lucky few never to experience it. Give a prayer of thanks and don't talk about what you do not understand."

The controversy began when haters started commenting on Tyler's post that read, "So excited to finally reveal our BIG NEWS!" One person wrote, "This is not good. Not good at all." Another added, "She's dealing with some serious postpartum issues tied along with depression that she hadn't fully recovered from. I'm worried for them, too." And a third chimed in, "People aren't saying that if you have a mental illness, you shouldn't have children. However, if you've recently finished having inpatient treatment, it's not exactly the right time to be procreating."
Cate, 26, first checked herself into a rehabilitation facility after experiencing suicidal thoughts, which was documented on the show. "I'm on my way to the airport," she said on a phone call to her mother-in-law during a previous episode. "Cause I'm going to treatment." When her mother-in-law asked, "What made this decision, honey?" Cate responded, "I contemplated every single way that I could kill myself today." Tyler's mother added, "Honey! You're a great mother, a great wife, and we're going to be praying for you every day!"
Now that Cate is out of rehab, however, it sounds like her outlook — and the way she feels about herself — has totally changed. "Their main focus at the moment is Nova and raising her," a source close to Cate and her husband told Radar Online back in March. "I know he wants a boy so bad, but he said it's all up to Cate. When she's ready, he's ready, but he's not even bringing it up or mentioning it. A baby is in their future, they just don't know how soon." Sorry, Ty! Rumors are already swirling that they're expecting another baby girl.
