Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson Have Quickly Become ‘Married at First Sight’ Fan-Favorites

Following the July 10 premiere of Married at First Sight, it's safe to say that one couple stood out from the rest as a clear fan-favorite: Tristan Thompson and Mia Bally. It was obvious to viewers within minutes that the pair had a special connection.

For starters, both Tristan and Mia are 29-year-old Texas natives who are deeply connected to their respective religions — Tristan is a Baptist and Mia is a devout Christian. Beyond that, they both admire committed, loving relationships.

Mia’s parents have been married for over 30 years, while Tristan’s grandparents, whom he looks up to greatly, have been married for over 65! Being surrounded by such powerful, loving relationships has clearly taught them both a great deal about how to navigate a healthy partnership. Oh, and did we mention they’re both ~ridiculously~ good looking?

During the premiere, Mia and Tristan’s families had their reservations about the two actually walking down the aisle. However, by the episode’s end, it seemed everyone was mostly OK with the situation. Though, Mia’s dad was insistent that the pair "don’t have sex on the first night." Yawn.

Tristan was especially excited to learn that his now-wife is a Dallas Cowboys fan and Mia was certain that the pair "would make cute babies." As to whether they’ll make it past the honeymoon stage? We’ll have to wait and see.
