On March 1, police were summoned to the home of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott after receiving a call about a “female mental illness” situation. There was widespread speculation the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star had snapped — and In Touch has learned that few who live nearby were surprised by the news.

"They argue several times a week," a source says of Tori, 44, and Dean, 51. "Their fights can be heard throughout the whole neighborhood. Tori’s yelling and hysterical crying are unmistakable."

In fact, the March 1 incident wasn’t the first time that week police were at Tori’s house. One day earlier, the actress called the cops believing someone was trying to break in — but it turned out to be Dean coming home.
