In case you have not heard by now, Tiger Woods was arrested over Memorial Day Weekend 2017 for DUI — at 3 a.m. on Monday morning in Jupiter Island, FL. He was booked in and released from Palm Beach County Jail and explained after the fact that his medicines played a big part in the incident.

“I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly,” he said in a statement. “I would like to apologize with all of my heart to my family, friends, and the fans. I expect more from myself too.”

However, it’s the pro golfer’s mugshot that has everyone talking. The pic instantly became a viral sensation, with Tweeters and Instagrammers around the globe doing their worst with the not-so-flattering snap.

“Tiger Woods 17 gonna be,” one user wrote alongside a series of fire emojis — probably suggesting it is going to be “lit.”

“Boom roasted!” this fan captioned an image from a baseball game.

A third user took the classic meme route and said, “Me last night vs. this morning,” along with a side-by-side shot of Tiger looking his best on the golf course and the now-infamous mugshot.

Other users couldn’t keep their comments to themselves and tweeted out their true thoughts.

“From childhood hero — to cheating drunk. #TigerWoods,” another user wrote.

“Srsly [sic]. Don’t drink and drive. #mondaymotivation. #TigerWoods,” said another.

Another one seemingly rushed to Tiger’s defense with, “Don’t be too harsh on Tiger, some of y’all have been drunk all of this weekend and driving. #TigerWoods.”
