Hollywood is full of complicated, on-again-off-again relationships. But few are as fickle as the love/hatred that Adam Levine and Blake Shelton feel for one another.

The two have remained loyal to The Voice while others—like Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Usher and now Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams—have turned the show into a game of musical chairs.

Despite their highly publicized bromance, the two have not remained nearly as loyal to each other, often engaging in an on-air rivalry that has remained pretty light-hearted—until now!

On the April 28 episode of The Voice, the country rocker may have taken it a little too far when he tweeted out his pal’s personal cell phone number!

It all began when the Maroon 5 front man poked fun at his friend, tweeting, “I’m seriously amazed at [Blake’s] stupidity…”

Blake followed it up by calling Adam on his dissing—and threatening to tweet out the digits. And between performances on the show, he actually followed through on the threat.

Hoping to See Your “Friend” Fail

VERDICT: Foe.

After Team Blake won a few consecutive seasons of The Voice, Adam shared his hopes of bringing his BFF down.

“I need to shut his mouth. I need to win so I can shut his face,” the 35-year-old hunk said at the time. “I just want to see him fail. It has less to do with my success. I just want to see him lose.”

Hoping for victory for your team? Fair. Hoping for victory, just to see your opponent lose? Bad sportsmanship.

When Adam appeared on Chelsea Lately, he confessed he and Blake were experiencing problems in the bedroom because of the country star’s drinking. Normally, airing your dirty laundry on national TV would be considered a no-no, but since he did it in an effort to help his other half, we’ll allow it.

“He drinks a lot so … it’s a problem,” he said. “But it’s fine. He’s OK. We’ll be all right. We’ll figure it out somehow.”
