She’s never exactly been subtle, but recently, Kim Kardashian took things to a new level. When a fan tweeted her in November to say he wasn’t expecting a Kardashian family Christmas card this year amid all the drama that’s unfolded on Keeping Up With the Kardashians this season, she all but confirmed the news. “Wow,” Kim wrote back. “Reading my mind.” The drama’s been just too real.

But that’s not the only sign that the holiday season is barreling toward disaster for the famous family. “It’s that time of year and the Kardashian clan is feuding,” an insider told Life & Style Magazine. From lingering issues between Kim, 38, and sister Kourtney Kardashian, 39, to ongoing awkwardness between the entire family and sister Khloé Kardashian‘s cheating NBA star boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, 27, there’s more than enough tension. “It’s shaping up to be a hellish holiday season,” noted the insider. “There’s a huge family divide with everyone taking sides.”

Last year, Kim and Kourtney famously fought just before the family’s annual holiday card photo shoot. (Kim rudely branded Kourt the “least exciting [sister] to look at” in a move that shocked fans when the KUWTK episode dropped earlier this year.) Now, it’s getting even worse. “Kourtney started questioning Kim’s taste and said she didn’t want the family looking like Christmas strippers,” revealed an insider. “Kim lost it. Then Kourtney said she wasn’t the only one who felt this way and threw [little sister] Kendall [Jenner] under the bus, too, saying she agreed with her.” Added the insider, “If they put a card out, it will be a miracle.”

Tensions have been simmering with Khloé as well. “The Kardashians were upset that she chose to spend Thanksgiving in Cleveland with Tristan instead of in Palm Springs with all of them,” said a source. Though Khloé, 34, has denied anyone’s mad, “She knows big family occasions aren’t the same without her. They’re begging her to be in LA on Christmas Day. But Khloé’s torn and worries that Tristan joining them would just cause even more tension.”

No one is exempt from the drama this year. Kris Jenner, 63, was also left fuming when Kourtney took her kids to see a movie on Dec. 1 with former stepdad Caitlyn Jenner, 69, who spectacularly fell out with Kris in 2017. “Kris is pissed and convinced Caitlyn is trying to secure an invitation to join them for Christmas,” shared the source. The momager also worries reclusive son Rob Kardashian, 31, who’s living at her place, “will end up acting like a Christmas humbug,” the insider continued, “sitting in the corner or even just staying in his room.”

The Kardashians will, of course, take to social media to make it appear they’re having the best holiday ever. “But that’s the furthest thing from the truth,” warned the insider. “This family has some major issues. Christmas is a huge mess.”
