So much drama! The Hills: New Beginnings recently returned to MTV this past June, and of course, there’s always conflicts between the reality stars. Spencer Pratt and his sister, Stephanie Pratt, argued in the past, and they’re back at it again. This time, the blonde beauty called her brother and his wife, Heidi Montag, “evil,” and she revealed she is quitting the show. Scroll through the gallery below to see the timeline of their rocky relationship.
Stephanie, 33, and Spencer, 35, grew up in Los Angeles. Spencer joined The Hills at the end of season 1, which aired in August 2006. Stephanie first appeared in November 2007, midway through season 3. Lauren Conrad became friends with the U.K. transplant while the two attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising together.

So Many Tears
After Spencer found out that Stephanie was trying to reunite Lauren with her former bestie Heidi, the crystal enthusiast was not happy, to say the least. “I just cannot believe you want to keep this fight going,” she said to him. “You need to stop having enemies, Spencer. You’re making me cry right now.” But Spencer insisted that Stephanie was making herself cry.

Sibling Love
The Made in Chelsea alum told Fancast in 2010 that the couple “decided they don’t want me in their life.” However, Stephanie still had nice things to say about her sibling. “He’s my big brother, and I hope he knows that I love him,” she told Us Weekly in April that same year. “I don’t know how they are, but I hear they’re still really happy.”

Yelling and Screaming
Spencer ripped Stephanie a new one during season 6 when the Made in Reality author attempted to reconcile with her sibling during a barbecue. “That’s why you’re not in my life, you crazy bitch,” he said to Stephanie as Heidi, 32, looked on. “Here I am talking about my little f—king sister who is not relevant to my life.”

Secrets, Secrets
In April 2017, Speidi announced they were expecting their first child, but they declined to tell one person: Stephanie. “I had no idea Heidi was pregnant,” she told OK! “Spencer and Heidi tend to do things in their own way. I’m really happy for them both.”

Shady Lady
The “Pratt Cast” cohost seemingly shaded her brother in August 2017. “Some of the most poisonous people come disguised as family,” she shared a quote on Instagram at the time, alongside the caption, “They never cease to amaze me — good thing I always pray for my enemies.” Stephanie also followed up on Twitter, adding, “I have protected people over the evil things they have done — and I’m tired of it. Tired of my parents living in denial. Time to tell the truth.” The dad of one didn’t directly respond to his sister, but he followed up with a tweet, writing, “Can’t beef with peeps who have mental problems.”

Not on Good Terms
In April 2019, Stephanie revealed she was not speaking with Spencer or Heidi. “If it weren’t for Heidi, I would have an epic relationship with my brother,” she said on a “Pratt Cast” episode. “So would my parents … I’ve tried to be nice to her for 10 years because I love my brother.”

See Ya
She added, “Heidi is always number one to Spencer, so you know what? Spencer is dead to me.” Stephanie also explained that her brother was cut out of their parents’ will because of “how horrific he is as a human.”

Hard Times
The pair responded to Stephanie’s allegations during an April 2019 episode of the “Make Speidi Famous Again” podcast. “It’s been a really hard week for me,” the “Blackout” singer said. “I had a lot of on-Hills drama with a family member and that was very challenging and heartbreaking. I felt like there were some very below-the-belt, nasty comments that weren’t even true.”

Attempting to Make Nice
Heidi tried to reach out to her sister-in-law to clear the air, but Stephanie didn’t respond. “The next day I was just like, ‘Hey, yeah, let’s give it some time, and I’d love to move forward.’ Then the person didn’t even message me and was, like, subtweeting me. So, it was like, ‘You obviously don’t want to make amends because I would’ve wrote back.’” Meanwhile, Spencer couldn’t help but gush over his wife. “If you think you’re going to walk on my sweet little angel, Heidi, you have something coming your way.”

Basically Strangers
Before the show premiered, Stephanie said that she didn’t have any sort of relationship with Spencer. “I love doing this [revival] now because I’m separate from my family, for the most part,” she told Us Weekly in June. “Everything’s the same [with Spencer], non-existent. But every family has drama!”

Heated Argument
The brother-sister duo got into a heated argument on the debut episode of the show. Stephanie explained she was angry she found out that Heidi was pregnant via the news, but Spencer claimed that she’s actually upset because the news broke on her birthday. “You created the position in our lives that you wanted to be in which is not close to us,” the former Celebrity Big Brother U.K. star said in his confessional. “So, to talk s—t from another country about how you found out, is still on you. You could have been here to support, like, ‘I’m gonna be that aunt! Do you guys need help?’” In the end, Spencer called Stephanie “the most self-centered person ever.”

Her Side of the Story
In July, Stephanie slammed Spencer and Heidi in a lengthy Instagram post. “Drama follows me, LOLZ,” she began her message. “I’m drained from this year. So happy to be back home in London where evil siblings don’t exist, but instead the MOST lovely people in the world — you guys are my family these days. I am so grateful, it makes my heart hurt. Thank you for making me feel like I belong somewhere. (Spencer often screamed that everyone hates me, is fake nice to me and to go back to London because no one wants me here).”

The Truth Comes Out
Stephanie also brought up Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler’s 2007 sex tape, and it seems like Spencer wasn’t the one who supposedly leaked the rumors about the footage. “OMG and Heidi, I have no words for how evil you truly are. You had no choice to admit all of the lies you’ve been spewing about me was for a magazine cover,” she claimed. “And for real — WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOU DID 10 years ago. You awful human being and to your BEST FRIEND? You are truly a hideous person. No wonder you don’t have one friend. (Your nanny doesn’t count — you pay her).”

Onto the Next
Afterward, a fan asked if she was returning for season 2 of the show. “No,” she replied in the comments section. She also revealed she “moved to London three days ago after the show ended.” But Heidi seems unbothered by the drama. “Don’t be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you,” she shared on Instagram — just hours after Stephanie’s rant. “Rather, be good to each other and to everyone else.’ 1 Thessalonians 5:15. Thank you, Jesus. I needed this word and guidance. Deliver and help us Lord.”
