‘The Bachelor’ Contestant Maquel Cooper’s Ex-Husband Wants Her Back (EXCLUSIVE)
The Season 22 premiere of ABC’s The Bachelor is only one week away, but there’s already drama brewing! In Touch magazine has learned that Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. has some competition for contestant Maquel Cooper, 23.
In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Maquel’s ex-husband Josh Munday says he wants her back. “One of my mistakes was letting her go,” says Josh, 25, who wed Maquel in May 2016 but filed for divorce just five months later.

“There was no infidelity, [and] she was never rude or malicious or anything of the sort. We were high school sweethearts that got married a bit too early,” he explains to In Touch.
But he says he “would not be opposed” to getting back together with the Utah-based photographer. “Maquel is one of the best human beings I’ve ever met in my entire life,” he says.
Though he thinks Maquel is quite the catch, Josh isn’t convinced the conservative Mormon is the right woman for Arie, 36. “Maquel is a very religious person. She’s not the type to jump into the Fantasy Suite,” warns Josh, adding this zinger: “I think Arie’s a little old for her.”
