Corinne Olympios has already emerged as a fan favorite and an undeniable villain on the show — and she solidified her spot in Bachelor infamy during the second episode, when she took off her bikini and made out with Nick Viall while topless. But now her mother, Peri, is explaining that there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to the 24-year-old!

“She had cover-ups on,” Corinne’s mother tells In Touch of the moment Nick laid his hands on her daughter’s bare breasts in a pool, adding that most of her daughter’s antics are “fake,” including the time she encouraged the 36-year-old stud to lick whipped cream off her chest.

“Do you really think a can of Reddi Wip was just sitting there? It was all for TV,” Peri adds.

Another one of Corinne’ s most infamous moments was also the result of deceit, a production source tells In Touch exclusively.

Corinne caused an uproar in the house when she slept through one of the rose ceremonies (she had already nabbed a rose from Nick). She justified her behavior by saying, “I didn’t mean to offend anyone by taking that nap. I’m sorry for sleeping, guys… Michael Jordan took naps, Abraham Lincoln took naps, and I’m in trouble for napping.”
