This is every homeowner’s worst nightmare! Little Women: LA star Terra Jole and her husband Joe Gnoffo have been saving up so that they could purchase their first home together, and they knew going into it that they would need to do a lot of renovations in order to make their new house little person-friendly. But in an exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s episode of their new show Terra’s Big House, the couple finds out that there’s another huge problem that will completely derail their plans of building their dream master bedroom.

In the clip, Terra and Joe’s contractor Cory McCrummen pulled them aside to deliver some pretty bad news — and since it had to do with a very big safety hazard, it was the last thing that the couple wanted to hear.

“In doing some investigation, [I] kind of found our first real hiccup here,” Cory said. “All of the receptacles throughout the house are not grounded. One, that’s not up to code and two, it’s actually very dangerous — especially considering you have children.”

Terra and Joe share two small kids together — two-year-old daughter Penelope and one-year-old son Grayson — and if the outlets in the house are not grounded, they’re risking the potential of their kids getting very badly electrocuted if they were to ever stick something into the socket if the receptacles are not grounded. By grounding them, it would make it a little bit safer if that was to ever happen. The only option that Terra and Joe have is to completely rewire the entire home before they can work on anything else. Yikes! Watch the video below to see the full sneak peek, and be sure to catch the new episode of Terra’s Big House , airing Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
