Things are tense in the world of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the Giudices and the Gorgas seem to be letting the imminent dread over their family tragedy subside while they celebrate a big family birthday. Melissa Gorga turned 40 on March 21, and her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice gave her a big shout-out on social media to send her all the love.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister-in-law @melissagorga, Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating, Love you! 💕🍾🎂🎈🎊🎉,” the RHONJ star captioned a cute Instagram post with a photo of the often-feuding sisters-in-law posing during an appearance on Bravo TV boss Andy Cohen‘s talk show Watch What Happens Live. She even included the adorable hashtag, “#fab&40.”

Melissa also made a birthday post of her own on social media and seemed excited and proud to flaunt her milestone birthday to her 1.7 million followers. “If this is 40 bring it 👊🏼,” she captioned two pics of herself showing off her insane bod in workout leggings and a sports bra on Instagram. We definitely think she’s got a reason to show off her assets on her biggest birthday thus far — she’s an absolute babe!

If you’re curious about Teresa’s affectionate birthday tribute after the RHONJ season 9 reunion special, you’re probably not the only one. The 46-year-old and her sister-in-law definitely didn’t leave off on a positive note once the reunion concluded, but it seems as though they may have been able to find a way to patch things up. It’s been known to happen with family.

Fellow cast member Dolores Catania recently told Life & Style that though the women seem to go head-to-head more often than not, they’ll always come back around for one another.

“I’ve been around [the] family, I mean for me, I’ve been around it a very long time. I’ve seen fights come and go. That’s it — they come and go just like most families that can get through things,” the 48-year-old told the outlet.
