You don’t want no smoke! Ashley Jones slammed fans after they accused her of smoking weed inside her house while her daughter, Holly, was home. On Sunday, March 22, the Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star shared new videos on her Instagram account as she attempted to learn a Tik Tok dance. After commenters called her out over the blunt in her hand in one of the clips, she hit back. Check out the gallery below to see what she had to say.
Ashley, 22, has been using her time at home to — what else? — hone her Tik Tok dance skills. On March 22, she worked on her moves for Megan Thee Stallion’s “I’m a Savage.”

Third Time’s the Charm
After two attempts, she decided to share the results on Instagram with her fans. Though most people were joking around about her dancing talent (or lack thereof) and her baby daddy Bariki Smith, a.k.a. Bar, in the back, some focused on what was in her hand.

Kicking Back
“Blunt ready, we ready,” one fan wrote. “LMAOOO, not the blunt in the hands,” another teased. But not everyone was on board with that. Some took the opportunity to call Ashley out.

Mom-Shaming
“How did she get a job being a nurse and smoking weed?” one wanted to know. Another was a lot more direct, calling out both the Teen Mom star and all the other parents in the comments condoning her actions.

Backlash
“OK, it’s one thing to smoke weed/[a] cigarette/[a] cigar/etc. (most [people smoke] nowadays), but take it outside. Kids didn’t ask to breathe that stuff in, you did!! I’m not saying don’t smoke it; I’m saying be smart about it [and] think of your children/child. Whether she [is] sleeping or not, she [is] still getting it. Some people have this strange idea that if you smoke down in the basement, your child won’t get it. If your child’s upstairs and [you are] downstairs, they won’t get it. [But] the smoke travels. Like, think about it. Y’all need to use your head. Smoke travels. The [children are] going to get it no matter where they are. … It’s simple.”

Not About It
Ashley wasn’t interested. Instead of getting involved with a long, complicated reply, she simply shot back, “What are you [talking] about, sis? Ain’t nobody smoking in the basement.”

Firing Back
The commenter clearly felt like the mom of one wasn’t getting it. “I said ‘some people,’ I didn’t say you,” they continued. “You are the one that said you were smoking after she went to bed. You [were] in your house smoking (doesn’t matter what it is) with your child sleeping. I was simply saying that, no matter where you smoke in your house, [the smoke] will travel to the rest of your house, so then, surely, your child will get it into her lungs. (Doesn’t matter what you are smoking.) There is nothing wrong with smoking weed. Hell, who doesn’t nowadays. I’m just saying, to prevent your child from getting lung cancer, take it outside. I’m not hating on you. So all you crazy fans calm down. I’m not saying she is a bad person. Jeez, you see somebody on TV for an hour a week and you think [they’re] your best friend, like damn. LOL.”

Going On
In a second comment, they added, “If you see, I didn’t even tag you in my first comment. I had read other comments that people have put and, instead of replying to every comment that I wanted to reply to, I just replied [with] one comment and said what I wanted to say. As you can see, I knew you had a blunt in your hand, but I said, ‘Cigarettes, cigar, weed.’ I also said, ‘Children/child.’ You clearly only have one. Come on, people, calm down. LOL. I ain’t dissing herbal smoking weed.”

Dismissed
That’s when Ashley had enough and decided to shut the conversation once and for all. “I also said we don’t smoke in my house,” she shot back, “but here you are still running your mouth.”

Getting Lit
That wasn’t the only hater the Young and Pregnant star called out. After Ashley denied smoking inside, others continued to claim it was clear she’d been taking puffs from the blunt in her hand.

No Smoke
“Not that I care, LOL, but that blunt was def lit. [I don’t care] if [people] smoke or [whatever] … I do. I ain’t paying no one’s bills. But to lie about …? [You] can see the smoke of the blunt when she moves. [I know] her [baby daddy] is cooking in the back … So y’all are going to say [it’s] smoke from [that]. But no. He moves the pan to the other side. [You] can see it, especially at the end. All I’m saying [is] if you don’t care, then be real about it. Why lie, LOL??”

Getting Tired
“Why the f–k would I be flailing a LIT backwood through the air?” the mom of one shot back when she saw that comment. “And backwoods let [off] gas, babe. If this [were] lit, you would see a clear smoke stream.”

On Her Own
Luckily, some fans had Ashley’s back. “Smoke [your] weed, sis. Nobody pays your bills,” one wrote. “[And] that’s on period AND POOH,” the Young and Pregnant star agreed.

Not Alone
In terms of IRL backup, she also had Holly’s dad, Bar. Though the star said she’s currently just “doing her” and not in a relationship, she’s been open about being on good terms with her baby daddy.
When fans noticed the parents were holed up together, they were glad to see it — and Ashley was glad to share it. “[There’s] no place I’d rather be at this moment in time,” she told commenters. “We [are] family regardless.”
