Don’t come for her man! Season 2 of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant premiered last night, and fans got to catch up with stars Lexi Tatman and her boyfriend/baby daddy Kyler Lopez. But while some fans were excited to see how Lexi and Kyler were adjusting to their new roles as parents, others were caught up on Kyler’s weight. Haters made some pretty mean comments online about Kyler — and Lexi clapped back at trolls who body-shamed her man and made fun of his weight.

“Seriously guys. Kyler’s body shouldn’t matter to anyone but him. I didn’t realize his body was such a [sic] ‘issue.’ Come on. He’s perfect in every sort of way to ME,” the 18-year-old wrote on Instagram. “I’ve made multiple posts about this because it’s reoccurring. Bodies aren’t always something we can control. Making fun, pointing out, or telling someone to diet, exercise, eat more, or anything like that is seriously rude. We should all feel good in our own bodies and if we feel good being larger, skinnier, with plastic surgery, anything at all, whatever makes you feel good about YOUR body, is what matters.”

Seriously guys. Kylers body shouldn’t matter to anyone but him. I didn’t realize his body was such a “Issue”. Come on. He’s perfect in every sort of way to ME. I’ve made multiple post about this because it’s reoccurring. Bodies aren’t always something we can control. Making fun, pointing out, or telling someone to diet, exercise, eat more, or anything like that is seriously rude. We should all feel good in our own bodies and if we feel good being larger, skinnier, with plastic surgery, anything at all, what ever makes you feel good about YOUR body, is what matters. This is to everyone and not just Kyler, your bodies are beautiful. Your stretch marks, birth marks, extra skin, hairy body, larger body, petite body, tall body, skinny body, what ever your body is, it’s beautiful. #yallrude #keyboardwarriors #bodypositivity

She also went on to share a very positive message to her followers who also struggle with body image issues. “This is to everyone and not just Kyler, your bodies are beautiful,” Lexi continued. “Your stretch marks, birthmarks, extra skin, hairy body, larger body, petite body, tall body, skinny body, whatever your body is, it’s beautiful. #yallrude #keyboardwarriors #bodypositivity.”

Fans flooded her comments and they praised her speaking out and defending her man. “I don’t understand why people care so much. You guys are perfect together and that’s all that matters. Having a good personality is the best in a relationship not just looks,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “So glad you made this post. It’s none of anyone’s business how anyone else looks. You’re so right, if you are comfortable in your own skin then it doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks. I think you both are awesome. Great people and great parents. Good job for not taking what others say to heart.”
