‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Catelynn Baltierra Reveals Daughter Vaeda Is a Total Daddy’s Girl: ‘It’s Not Fair’

Daddy’s little girl! Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell) says her 13-month-old daughter, Vaeda, already idolizes her dad, Tyler Baltierra, in an exclusive interview with In Touch. “Let’s just say that she says ‘dad’ all of the time.”

The 28-year-old says her little one is always calling out for her daddy. “It’s not fair. Everything’s dad, unless she’s crying or mad, then it’s mom,” she explains.

Although Vaeda may be developing a strong bond with her papa, 28, Catelynn says she and her daughter share many of the same qualities. “She’s very chill. She’s like me a lot in that aspect. She’s a Pisces like her mama, so she’s very like chill and easygoing.”

Vaeda has made some big strides during her first year of life. “She’s got two bottom teeth and she has four coming in on top right now,” Catelynn says. She has also learned to stand in place and her proud parents think she is about to take her first steps. She’s currently “obsessed” with Frozen 2 and the Trolls franchise. As for their 5-year-old daughter, Novalee, she’s “just our crazy high energy ball of energy kid,” the beauty jokes.

Catelynn and Tyler have been on our radar since they first starred in 16 and Pregnant in 2009. Since then, the couple got married in 2015 and have experienced their fair share of ups and downs. In 2018, the duo briefly separated before welcoming Vaeda to their family. Today, the two are happier than ever.

“Me and Ty, we just really click and we have a respect for each other,” she told In Touch exclusively in early March. “I also feel like when you are in love with somebody and married to someone, you need to wake up every day, and you choose that person, you choose that person to walk this craziness with,” Catelynn added.

She continued, “No matter what you have to do, you know, you do it to make it work. I think just, you know, loving each other and choosing each other every day, and we’re gonna work together as a team, and figure it out.”
