‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Catelynn And Tyler’s Daughter Nova Is Going To Be The Best Big Sister
She’s gonna be such a good big sister! Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is pregnant and expecting baby No. 3 with her husband Tyler Baltierra, and fans will get to watch their journey on the upcoming season of the hit MTV reality TV series. Cameras were rolling during the moment that Cate and Ty told their daughter Nova that she was going to be a big sister and she had the absolute cutest reaction to the baby news.
In a sneak peek for the upcoming Teen Mom OG season premiere obtained by Us Weekly, Cate and her three-year-old daughter were in their kitchen making cupcakes together while dad Tyler sat at their kitchen table. Cate then explained that they were making cupcakes for a very special occasion.
“Do you know why we’re making pink and blue cupcakes? Why are we having a party tomorrow? Mommy has a baby in her belly and tomorrow, the party is ‘cause we’re gonna find out if it’s gonna be a little girl or a little boy,” the 26-year-old said. “Would you want a little brother or a little sister?”
Little Nova said she wanted a sister, and her mom and dad asked if she would be happy if she had a brother and Nova said, “Yeah.” She said she was going to rock her new baby sibling and feed it bottles, and love on them.
Earlier this week, Cate and Ty announced that they were pregnant with their third child (they also share nine-year-old daughter Carly, whom they placed for adoption back in 2009) and it seems like fans will get to learn about their baby’s gender on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG. Since Cate and Ty are already parents to two daughters, they revealed that they would like to have a boy next.
“I think we both want a boy for sure, but also we have Nova,” Cate told Us Weekly. “So it’s, like, if we’re just meant to have girls, we’re meant to have girls.”
