Former ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Mackenzie Edwards Has a New Job as a Wedding Planner

Working mama! Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie Standifer may not be getting any more MTV checks ever since they announced that they quit the cast of Teen Mom OG last month, but Mack already found another way to get her coin. The pregnant former reality TV star relaunched her website and re-branded herself as a wedding planner, which means she’s got a new job in the event industry.

As Starcasm first noted, Mackenzie re-did her website, and her header read: Mackenzie Edwards Weddings and Events. Under the “Meet Me” page, Mackenzie introduced herself to prospective clients — and she doesn’t mention that she ever had any association with MTV at all in her bio.

“My name is Mackenzie, and I love all things wedding and events. My personal mission is to see your dreams come to fruition,” the statement read. “Sometimes it can be hard to take all of the thoughts, dreams, and visions in your head and turn them into a reality. That is where I step in. From start to finish, whatever your needs may be, I will be here to help and guide you every step of the way. The stress of planning your own wedding can take a toll on ones self and really take away from the whole experience. With my help, we can partner together to create you the wedding of your dreams and alleviate the stress factor therefore creating a priceless and winning combo.”

Clients can choose between a variety of packages, ranging from $150 to $1,500. She also uses photos of her from her own wedding day as the graphics for her website. Mackenzie and Ryan had two different weddings and both were filmed for Teen Mom OG, and during last season’s reunion special, Mackenzie slammed producers for the way they portrayed her second wedding.

“I just felt like everyone on this show has gotten to have their fairytale wedding aired, and then it comes to us and it was aired now how it was to us,” Mackenzie said.
