‘Teen Mom 3’ Star Mackenzie McKee Shares a Snapchat of Her Dead Dog (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)
Heartbreaking news for Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee.
The blonde beauty shared the news that her dog, Mia, had puppies on Snapchat — but unfortunately, one of them did not make it. She sparked controversy by sharing a photo of the dead animal on the social media app.

“Mia just had a C-section, and one puppy made it,” she said.
Her son, Gannon, struggled with the loss of the deceased pup, and she explained she didn’t know how to tell him what was going on. He said he wanted to keep it regardless.
“Gannon, I think that that doggie went to doggie heaven and we need to bury it. You’re just going to keep a dead dog?” Mackenzie asked.

Eventually, she explained in a later clip that they did bury their fallen pet and even held a dog funeral.
After receiving backlash, the former MTV star explained how she thought it was right for her son to have closure — something she didn’t necessarily get when she suffered a miscarriage a while back.

“We did leave the momma alone with the puppy for hours, and she just wanted nothing to do with him,” she quipped.
“We called the vet and asked everything that we should do, and he said we needed to feed him. So yes, we have done everything that the vet told us to do, and Gannon is having a hard time saying goodbye to the puppy that didn’t make it.”
This is hardly the only controversy Mackenzie is currently dealing with. In Touch previously reported that she and her husband, Josh McKee, have separated thanks to him accusing her of cheating with a married man. It is unclear whether or not they’ve reunited.
