‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Chelsea Houska Wants to Try a Water Birth for Baby No. 4 With Cole DeBoer

Fans are obsessed with Chelsea Houska’s family.

In fact, one fan even told them that they wanted the Teen Mom stars to be like the Duggars and “keep going with having babies.” And it seems like the mom-of-three is on exactly the same page.

That’s pretty much the plan.

In one of her answers during the Q&A, she told a fan that she and Cole “do” want more kids — and if they can handle Watson and Layne being so close in age, we can imagine we won’t have long to wait until they get to work on the next one. “Maybe when [Layne]’s two, we’ll start thinking about it,” she said in a recent interview with E! News.

She even talked about her plan.

“I don’t think I would ever do a home birth, but I would love to try a water birth at the hospital with my next,” she shared. But would Cole still have his typical role of helping to deliver the baby if they did a water birth?

In the past, he’s “caught” their kids.

“We had included [Cole delivering Layne] in our birth plan,” Chelsea told one Instagram user. “We wanted him to ‘catch’ her. He did with Watson, also!”

Right now, though, she’s got her hands full.

When asked about how sleep training is going for baby Layne, Chelsea responded, “She doesn’t sleep. I don’t really have any advice for sleep training, we haven’t done any. But if you find something that helps … send my way!” In another answer, she continued, “Sweet baby Layne keeps mama up ALL night.”

Some things are going well.

Luckily, Layne’s lack of sleep seems to be her main issue. When it comes to breastfeeding her youngest daughter, the mom admits it’s going “great!” She continued, “Making it to a year is my goal.”

She gave more details.

“I recently started using the haaka a lot just to catch the let down of the boob I’m not feeding on and I’m loving it,” she continued when asked about pumping. “Happy to be saving some more milk for the freezer stash.”

It’s not always easy.

Even though breastfeeding is going well, there have been a couple snags in the road. “I had a HORRIBLE cracked [nipple] after I had Layne,” the mama admitted. “I just did Lanolin constantly and it just took some time to heal.”

But her babies are growing up so fast.

Though she shared that Layne can’t sit up by herself “quite yet,” the mom-of-three said that “she’s getting there,” and we know that she’ll be growing up in front of our very eyes before we know it.

Watson does his part to help.

When asked how she manages both a baby and a toddler, the mom said it’s all thanks to her son! “I swear Watson is the easiest toddler ever,” she shared. “So that helps, lol.”

Okay, okay. He’s not perfect.

In another response, she admitted that he does still use a pacifier, something that Chelsea is working on. “We try to only give it at bedtimes and naps. But we gotta take it away completely soon.” It’s not something she seems particularly excited about though!

Of course, Aubree helps, too.

“She’s a HUGE help!” Chelsea said. “She is the best big sister.” And we’ve seen that for ourselves, too. Watching Aubree cuddle with baby Layne or telling her little sister a story could warm anyone’s heart.

They’ve always got family.

We see on Teen Mom how good papa Randy Houska is with the kids, but Cole’s family helps out too. The MTV star called them “very involved,” continuing, “They are incredible and treat Aubree just the same as they treat Watson and Layne. I love them.”

There’s not much holding them back from planning for baby No. 4!

Even when it comes to the physical limitations and changes that being pregnant can bring, Chelsea admits that she’s on board for pretty much whatever comes her way. She’s not bothered by the small stuff — or the big transformations.

Weight gain? No sweat.

“I gained 31lbs when I was pregnant with Layne,” she admitted. “I was super happy with that! I gained like 50lbs with Watson.” She looked gorgeous to us both times! And we’re sure Cole would agree.

Stretch marks are no concern of hers.

“[I have them] on my sides and boobs and some on the front of my tummy,” she said. “But they don’t bother me.” She even added a tiger and smiling emojis to just how much she didn’t mind earning her stripes.

Bring on baby No. 4!

And maybe even baby No. 5! Baby No. 6? Just how many kids is this couple planning to have? TBH, we’ll take as many as we can get!
