Former Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer-Calvert has been through hell and back with allegations of a prescription pill addiction to rumors of an affair, driving her husband of two years, Jeremy Calvert, to file for divorce. And now Leah is hoping for help from a higher power.

‘In Touch’ has exclusively learned that the troubled mother of three is renewing her religious faith in hopes of putting her life back together.

“She’s started going to a church that embraces forgiveness and recovery. She’s determined to make a complete turnaround,” a source close to the 22-year-old tells ‘In Touch.’

On Nov. 22, Leah attended the 7 p.m. service at Sissonville Community Church in Charleston, West Virginia. Her pastor — himself a recovering addict — was preaching about substance abuse. “He said that bad habits like drugs, sex and alcoholism can be broken when one finds Jesus. Leah was nodding her head in agreement the entire time,” a witness who spotted the Teen Mom 2 star tells ‘In Touch.’ “It seemed to really hit home for her.”
