‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Thinks David Eason Needs A ‘Psych Eval’ Following Gun Rant

In the past, David and Kail have snarked at each other plenty. 

After being fired from the show, David criticized Kail’s violent behavior in a fight with Briana DeJesus and compared it to his homophobic beliefs, insisting that the physical violence was worse. “So Kailyn Lowry is allowed to openly promote violence on set?” he wrote. “[But] if I even disagree with someone’s lifestyle in my private life I’m fired?”

And Kail’s come for David before, too.

“Imagine being a grown-ass man trolling on your wife’s costars’ Instagrams,” she tweeted with a laughing emoji. “Married a winner.”

Not to mention everything she’s had to say about Jenelle. 

They’ve frequently feuded over the years, including this past August when Kail tweeted, “Jenelle, unblock me and say it to me… We only talk about the crazy s–t you do that makes headlines. You’re not actually interesting.”

And after his rant, Kail stopped just rolling her eyes at his antics.

Instead, she started to get worried about everything that he was saying — and what it meant for the people around him. “Wow @ David’s IG posts,” she wrote on Twitter on Dec. 14. “Do we have confirmation that Jenelle & the kids are OK???”

Now, the MTV star is seriously worried. 

“I definitely think that David is a danger to people,” she shared on her pod. “All people, his children and wife included. I definitely saw what was on his Instagram story and I couldn’t even watch like it in its entirety because I was like so blown away and taken away by it.”

She was so worried, in fact, that she actually reached out to Jenelle. 

“I reached out to Jenelle — whatever number I had for Jenelle — and I just was like, ‘Hey, I know we don’t see eye to eye. I’m just checking on you to make sure you’re okay.’ The response I got from someone else was I guess they recycled Jenelle’s number and someone else had it and so that was a little sad. I also tagged her on Twitter because I told her I reached out but also she has me blocked so I don’t know.”

She even tried to check in with the show’s producers to make sure everything was okay.

“Basically what I saw was that he hashtagged Trump and Nancy Pelosi I think and was shooting at targets and stuff like that,” she continued. “I definitely think that he’s unstable and I reached out to a producer on the show and asked if we had confirmation if Jenelle was okay and I never got an answer on that.”

She’s more worried about the kids than she is about Jenelle herself.

“[David], I think, is going to set himself up to get into a lot of trouble so I just… The whole situation is really unfortunate and sad because you can hear the kids in the background of him like shooting at whatever he’s shooting at… He loves the attention and he has to get it some way or another since he’s not on the show anymore. What concerns me, though, is the kids running around while he’s shooting targets. And like for me I’m not — I don’t believe that people shouldn’t have guns — I Just think that there needs to be some type of safety around them. And I think that him doing that while the kids are running around outside is probably not the safest thing to do and, you know, he’s showing all of his guns on Instagram and stuff like that.”

But she’s also worried about other people who saw the videos. 

“You’re setting yourself up for — you don’t know who’s watching,” Kail said. “Someone might — I don’t know — and I don’t really want to say what could happen ’cause I don’t want it to, like, plant ideas. But that’s, like, super completely irresponsible. I just think that, maybe, he needs a psych eval.”

David just keeps causing trouble, though. 

Just days after his gun rant on Instagram, the former reality star switched platforms to YouTube instead where he could post freely. And what he chose to post was a video that Jenelle filmed of him illegally towing someone else’s truck. 

It’s not a stretch to think that Kail could be right about this situation turning dangerous. 

We just hope that she really will be there for Jenelle after all of the fallout like she seems to want to be. 

After all, they were friends back in the day. 

Back in 2012, they reunited after another fight. “Happy to say that Jenelle and I can look past our differences and be friends again,” Kail wrote at the time. We’re crossing our fingers that the MTV stars can support each other again soon.
