Teen Mom 2 stars Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans are reportedly fighting with producers at MTV over contract negotiations for the show’s new season, according to a new report.

The reason for the clash is allegedly because of money. The girls, who’ve all signed up for the show’s next season, reportedly believe the channel is taking advantage of them.

“MTV has locked the girls all down for season seven,” a source told Radar. “So they have been calling the latest filming ‘extra’ or ‘bonus’ footage so they don’t have to negotiate a new contract.”

It seems as though MTV is trying to hold onto the girls because of their dramatic storylines. Kailyn’s turbulent relationship with Javi Marroquin, in addition to her alleged lesbian relationship, could prove to bring in high ratings for the show.

Jenelle’s alleged pregnancy leak could also bring in money for the channel, as well as Chelsea’s pregnancy with her second child with fiancé Cole DeBoer.

Producers also want the cameras to continue rolling on Leah as well, as her storyline surrounding her girls and rehab stint has brought in viewers.

Lastly, all of the boys on the show are scheduled to appear in the show’s new season, despite how the girls feel. Just yesterday Adam Lind was spotted during filming even though he claimed he was “done” with the series.
