On recent episodes of Teen Mom 2, Chelsea Houska was able to put her worries aside when a judge denied Adam Lind’s request for split custody of their five-year-old daughter, Aubree.

While it was relief for the 23-year-old mom, it was only temporary — as the judge decided the exes would reconvene in six months to reevaluate the situation.

Even though we won’t see it on our TVs for quite some time, the six months have passed in real time — so where do Adam and Chels currently stand?

“Nothing has changed,” a source close to the South Dakota native tells Radar. “Aubree just started kindergarten, and Chelsea feels that her daughter needs to be comfortable with her new routine before anything else changes.”

Last night’s Teen Mom 2 was especially emotional for little Aubree.

Not only did the mother-of-one struggle with her daughter wanting to call her new, live-in boyfriend Cole DeBoer “Dad,” but the kindergartener also managed to break hearts everywhere when Chelsea asked Aubs if she’s seeing her dad a lot.

“No,” the five-year-old lamented. “He is getting too much girlfriends.”
