There may be hope for a father-daughter reconciliation in 2018! Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus rang in the new year with her boyfriend, fellow Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin, but her thoughts were with another important man in her life — her father. Bri took to Twitter on Sunday, Dec. 31 to open up about her one New Year's resolution that involves her dad.

"Hopefully in 2018 I can rekindle my relationship with my father… I miss him," the 23-year-old wrote on Twitter. "[And] would love for the girls to meet him."

The status of Bri's relationship with her father is unclear, but judging from what has been previously revealed on her episodes of 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom 3, and Teen Mom 2, Briana and her sister Brittany were both raised by Briana's biological father, whose identity remains a mystery. But it seems like he was in and out of Briana and Brittany's lives while they were younger. In her episode of 16 and Pregnant, Briana said that she moved from Brooklyn to Orlando with her sister and her mom when she was 10, so that may have been around the same time that the girls lost contact with their father.

But the real bombshell came during Briana and Brittany's stint on Season 1 of VH1's Family Therapy. In an extremely tense session with Dr. Jenn Mann, Roxanne revealed that the man that Brittany thought was her father is actually not her biological father. Brittany and Briana have different biological fathers, and Briana's biological father raised Brittany like she was his own since she was 12 months old. Of course, Brittany was shocked when she found out the news, but she was even more devastated when her mom told her that her biological father died when she was only three years old.
