Stop everything — Taylor Swift is releasing a new album titled Reputation — and just hours ago, the songstress officially released the very first song off the album!
The 27-year-old took to her Instagram to reveal that she would be dropping the full album on Nov. 10. “There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation,” she wrote in the caption of a post. Tay also offered fans what seemed to be a sneak peek at the music video for the first single from the album. The full video will premiere this weekend at the VMAs according to the post.
Some interesting lyrics from the new song include: “The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? ‘Cause she’s dead” and “I don’t like your little games/ I don’t like your tilted stage. The role you made me play: of the fool/ No, I don’t like you.” It seems like Kim Kardashian was right to be worried about Tay coming for her and Kanye West… Listen:

According to Us Weekly, Tay’s new song is going to be “poppy” and follow in the direction of her previous album, 1989. “She’s aiming to release an album this fall,” a source explained in May. “She’s continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album. She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there.”
