‘Flip or Flop’ Contractor Frank Miller “Not Doing Well” Following Cancer Diagnosis
Earlier this year, Flip or Flop stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa put their differences aside for their friend, Frank Miller, who is currently battling multiple aggressive forms of cancer. Now, their former contractor is reportedly "not doing well."
In July, Tarek took to Instagram to give an update on his condition. He wrote, "As I write this, he is being rushed to the hospital so we need to all pray for him. His body is shutting down and I know he would love to be read the supportive comments from his fans and motivate him to fight! He's not doing well so now is the time to let him hear how much he is LOVED. Frank, I love you like a brother, man. I really do."
Yet if there's one good thing that's come from this, it's that estranged exes, Tarek and Christina, pooled their money to help. In an Instagram post from June, Tarek wrote, "We love him so much that Christina and I our [sic] donating $5,000.00 to his GoFundMe account to start it." Some fans, however, were not too happy with the amount. One commented on his original Instagram post, "That's all? $5,000. You made millions, you're a joke," and another said, "$5,000? Aren't you missing a few 0's?"
In 2013, Tarek battled cancer of his own. Fan and registered nurse, Ryan Read was tuning in to a Flip or Flop marathon when she noticed a suspicious lump on Tarek's throat. She sent the show's production company an email with her concerns, which prompted Tarek to get the lump checked out — it was stage 2 thyroid cancer. Today, however, he's cancer-free. Here's to hoping Frank pulls through!
