Making amends. On Tuesday, June 11, Tamar Braxton uploaded an Instagram video where she asked her former The Real cohosts to “forgive” her three years after she was fired.

In the clip, the 42-year-old and her new boyfriend, David Adefeso, are seen having fun at a waterpark while her new song, “Free Fallin,” is playing in the background.  “When all you know and felt is hurt. You hurt. Self-inflicted and to others are included. From my sisters, the ladies of The Real, Iyanla, old and new friends and whomever else I’ve EVER hurt, from being hurt,” she wrote. “Please forgive me. I didn’t know love to show you love. Now I do thanks to my @david.adefeso.”

It’s surprising the Maryland native apologized to her former colleagues — Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adrienne Houghton — since she stopped speaking to them after she was let go from the show in 2016 after two seasons.

The media personality was very hurt after she learned she would no longer be on the popular talk show. “I love u all, but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (bot my man or my sisters),” she wrote on social media at the time.

Loni was accused of throwing Tamar under the bus, but denied she had anything to do with it. “None of us knew about Tamar until she texted us on Saturday … I got a group text,” she wrote on Facebook at the time. “She said, ‘I heard I’m being fired.’ I’m not the type of person to give out information … I’ll probably get in trouble for doing this. Maybe, I’ll be the next one [fired].”

The Braxton Family Values star has been involved with numerous feuds over the years. On her TV show, she frequently fights with her sisters — Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina — and she got into it with inspirational speaker and author Iyanla Vanzant, who tried to help the Braxton sisters all get along during an episode.

It doesn’t look like any of the ladies of The Real commented on her post, but her sister Towanda wrote a heartfelt message. “Amazing @tamarbraxton #healing #forgiveness #love. Glad I can witness this …” she said. “#keepmovingforward #kingladybug.”

Keep moving forward, indeed!
