Javona Glover was reportedly stabbed to death in front of the Walgreens at which she worked Tuesday in Tallahassee, Fla.
According to a report from the Associated Press, police were called to the store, located on West Tennessee St., early Tuesday morning and were informed the 23-year-old was stabbed and bleeding heavily. Despite given medical attention, Javona tragically succumbed to her injuries, according to AP.
Since her death, the rapper has posted numerous photos of his niece on his Instagram account. Fans have continuously reached out in the comments to offer their condolences.
According to WCTV, police named Tavon Q. Jackson as a suspect in the attack and have since secured a warrant for his arrest. Security camera footage shows Tavon in the store at the time of the stabbing.
Walgreens has also issued a heartfelt statement since the tragedy, "We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our team member. The store is temporarily closed while police conduct their investigation and we refer you to police for any additional information. Pharmacy patients who normally use this location can have their medications filled at our nearby stores located at 313 N. Monroe St. and 140 Capital Circle."
