Marriage isn’t easy, and especially not for T.I. Though the rapper’s estranged wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris filed for divorce a second time this past April after seven years of marriage, he’d really like to make their relationship work. There’s just one problem — the 36-year-old hip-hop star (real name: Christopher “Tip” Harris Jr.) is reportedly afraid of commitment.

“Tip has always been in love with Tiny, even when they split he never fell out of love with her,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He does really want to be monogamous, it kills him when he hurts Tiny, but it’s like he can’t help himself. They make up and everything is great again, for a while, but he always ends up slipping back into his old ways, it’s just inevitable.”

According to the insider, the Atlanta-based recording artist has a hard time remaining faithful when he’s out on the road touring. “You’ve got to remember that Tip spends a lot of time away from home, and he has gorgeous women throwing themselves at him,” the source said. “It’s a lot of temptation to try and resist, it’s difficult. He does really want to be with Tiny, he loves her to pieces, and the kids too obviously, but it’s hella tough to remain faithful, no matter how hard he tries.”

Despite their troubled past as a couple, T.I. and Tiny, 42, put aside their differences and reunited to celebrate the rapper’s daughter Deyjah Harris’ 16th birthday back in June. Still, Tiny — who shares four kids with T.I. — is moving forward with their divorce, and opened up about her decision to finally call it quits with her hubby during a recent interview with Wendy Williams.

“We just cannot keep it together. I guess, entertainment, life, everything…it’s just a lot. They call him a sex symbol, I guess,” Tiny said, explaining that starring on VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle was hurtful to their relationship. “[That] did put a little strain on it because it keeps people in your business.”
