Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello’s Baby News: They’re Hiring a Surrogate! (REPORT)

Just weeks after Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello got engaged, they already have babies on the brain — as ‘In Touch’ can exclusively reveal they’re planning on having a child via surrogate!

An insider tells the mag they hope to have a baby on the way when they walk down the aisle later this year, adding, “Sofia and Joe will use a surrogate, but the baby will be their biological child, conceived with Sofia’s egg and Joe’s sperm.”

According to the insider, they’ve been screening potential surrogates since December, as they are excited to expand their little family.

Their decision shouldn’t come as a big surprise. The 42-year-old mom (who has a son Manolo, 22, from a previous relationship) has been candid about her decision to freeze her eggs.

“I just wanted to plan ahead. Nothing happens that naturally anymore,” the ‘Modern Family’ actress said in 2013. “I wanted to take advantage of science.”

While there’s speculation that Sofia is avoiding a pregnancy to preserve her signature curves, the insider insists that’s not the case.

“It’s a closely guarded secret why Sofia won’t be carrying the baby and not something they’re openly talking about,” the insider says. “One thing is for sure, though: They can’t wait to be parents!”
