Someone had a great birthday night out! Sister Wives stars Meri and Kody Brown looked happier than ever celebrating the OG wife’s birthday in Flagstaff in a photo she shared on January 17, and her social media followers are just as thrilled for them. Meri posted a pic with her hubby on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “So Kody and I went out for my birthday the other night and found this hidden gem in Flagstaff. I mean, maybe it was hidden, maybe we’re just new to town lol! #BlackBartsSteakhouse and Musical Revue was so fun, and we got to experience the musical talents of students from #NAU Definitely a win!! 💖💖💖.” She also shared a bunch of seemingly positive hashtags like, “#LivingMyWhy” and “#LoveWhatIDo.”

Meri, Kody, and the other sister wives who make up the Brown family — Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — recently moved to the Arizona city from Las Vegas along with many of their kids. And it sounds like they’re having fun enjoy the local hot spots! After all, what better opportunity is there to check out “hidden gems” than a birthday?

This couple has faced some tough times over the years, so it’s nice to see them looking pleased to spend time with each other. The TLC stars hit a rough patch in their marriage after Meri’s catfish scandal back in 2015, and in a tell-all episode of their show, Kody said of their marital issues, “This is something that we, and I don’t even like using the word hope, but we are actually healing. And we dug this hole for 25 years, it’s not something we’re going to fix with a weekend getaway.”

Fans in the comments definitely seemed to be rooting for the spouses. “It is so nice to see you both together, I pray it means you guys have gone through the rough patch and things are good with you two now. ❤️🙏” one fan commented. Another noted, “You guys exude happiness in this pic.” We will just have to wait and see how these two are really doing when Sister Wives returns for a new season on January 20.
