Introducing the newest furry family member! Sister Wives star Janelle Brown shared some exciting news with fans on April 14 — revealing that her son Gabriel just adopted a puppy. The TLC alum showed off the darling pooch in a new photo via Instagram and spilled all of the details.

“We have officially become a two dog household 🐾. Gabe adopted this 3 month old puppy yesterday,” the reality star, 49, captioned the snap showing her son shared with husband, Kody Brown, holding close to the precious dog. As far as the breed goes, Janelle dished, “Dog is a complete mutt — looks like lab and shepherd possibly — with other things mixed in.”

The Sister Wives star also addressed how they got their first dog when she was a little bit older. “We got Bryn when she was 2, so having a puppy around is a bit of a new experience. #puppy #aboyandhisdog,” Janelle concluded her caption. Now, Bryn will have a play mate!

Several fans were sharing their excitement over the new family addition in the comment section. “That’ll be good for [Gabe] right now,” one wrote. “Aww … what a sweet pup. I think this is exactly what Gabe needs to help him with the move,” another added, while a third sweetly chimed in, “Janelle, your kids are awesome. Hearing Gabe talk about Hunter being there for him throughout his struggle with the move was so sweet. You have a great bunch of kids!”

As viewers may recall, the Brown family’s move to Flagstaff, Arizona was a big part of the season 13 drama. During the recent tell-all, Janelle said it’s important that they all be “much more intentional” about getting together because they are no longer right across the street from each other as they once were in Las Vegas.

It’s obviously been a major adjustment for everyone involved, but Janelle’s son Gabe really seemed to struggle with the move because he was doing well in school and had a girlfriend as well as great friends. Hopefully, a new pup will help ease the process even more!
