The Browns Are Back! A New Season of 'Sister Wives' Will Officially Air in 2020

The Browns are returning to the small screen. Sister Wives is coming back to TLC, after months of speculation about whether or not the show was going to get another season. But when is it coming back, and what should fans expect from the newest installment of the series?

Is Sister Wives Officially Getting a New Season?

Yes! Sister Wives fans can expect an all-new season in 2021. TLC announced the show was officially renewed for season 15 on Thursday, January 2021. “THEY’RE BACK!” read the tweet. “The Browns have come a long way, but it’s time for them to face a new challenge: the pandemic.”

In upcoming episodes, the brood will still be dealing with some “frustrations” in their family dynamic as well as “separation” issues because of the coronavirus outbreak. As if that’s not enough to process, one spouse wants to move back to Utah, but that suggestion doesn’t exactly please patriarch Kody Brown

When Will Sister Wives Return?

The reality series has set a premiere date for its new season — Sunday, February 14, at 10/9c

How Did Season 14 of Sister Wives Leave Off?

There’s a lot to catch up on with the Brown family. Here’s the official synopsis for the last season:

“The sister wives have just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they find that the ups and downs of their family’s polygamist lifestyle are as dramatic as they’ve ever been. Angry neighbors drive one wife out of her rental house and the cost of the many properties the family needs for Kody’s four wives and many kids are threatening a financial disaster.”

Viewers got to see the brood argue over purchasing or renting another property and the drama between his wives escalated to an all-time high.

Tensions with his first wife, Meri, were still very prevalent and they even tried out some counseling to fix their relationship. Albeit, there were some silver linings with Meri’s daughter, Mariah, and her girlfriend, Audrey, getting engaged and Janelle‘s daughter Madison welcoming a second baby!

There’s plenty more in store for Sister Wives fans to enjoy this time around! Are you excited the next season finally has a premiere date?
