Sex, divorce, babies, and drama — oh my! FYI broke the mold with a rather unusual marriage and relationship experiment back in 2015 when the series Seven Year Switch debuted on the network. Now that it's been three years since Season 1 of the show premiered, we're taking a look back at the couples who rocked reality television with their openness and vulnerability.
Fans of the show will remember that the series followed four couples — Aleshia and Houston Osemwengie, Rachel Farris and CW McGee, Danielle and Eric Wolf, and Neal and Leah Carney — as they put their marriages on a two-week hold and experimented with temporary spouses. For some, it was a pleasant happy ending. For other couples, the experiment tore at their relationship even deeper, making their connection impossible to repair.
How big are reality star salaries? Jason Tartick breaks it down with Us Weekly editors.
"On the day we said goodbye there were fears of 'What if this is a big mistake?'" Rachel Farris has said. "'What if this experiment does more harm than good?'"
