Selena Gomez Shares a Thoughtful Post About How ‘Truly Grateful’ She Is Before Getting ‘Back to Work’
It’s comeback season! Despite Selena Gomez’s past struggles, the 27-year-old pop star is bouncing back better than ever. So much so, that she’s sharing it with the world. Taking to Instagram, Selena posted a super thoughtful message, along with adorable photos from her Italian getaway in celebration of her birthday.
“Sometimes I can’t express how truly grateful I am. Now … back to work,” Selena captioned the snapshots on Thursday, August 1. Ummm, does back to work mean more music?! After all, the “Wolves” singer hasn’t released a studio album since Revival in 2015.
That said, she has been perfecting her acting chops. Most recently, she starred in the zombie thriller The Dead Don’t Die, which was featured at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. ICYMI: Selena completely dazzled the red carpet. Seriously, she’s never looked better!
Regardless of what Selena has in the works, her friends, family and followers are so happy to see her doing well and left plenty of kind words on her page. “Bless up, beautiful!” one person commented. “We are grateful to have you back,” added another.”
A third person chimed in with, “So happy to see you happy and cannot wait for what’s to come,” while a fourth echoed, “I love you! So proud of you for getting back to work. Rock that new record, girl!”
Between spending time in a rehabilitation facility and dealing with Justin Bieber drama — even after her ex tied the knot with Hailey Baldwin, fans continued to rehash details from their failed relationship — Selena deserves to be happy and healthy!
