The case against Justin Bieber for allegedly attacking Florida-based photographer Jeffrey Binion has taken a dramatic twist. In Touch Weekly has exclusively learned the singer’s manager, Scooter Braun, will not only be deposed but will also be questioned about the 20-year-old’s alleged steroid use.

A source close to the case tells In Touch Scooter was subpoenaed last month, and the deposition will take place in Los Angeles next week, on May 15.

“Scooter will be asked about what kind of advice Justin has received about handling photographers and did he ever discuss wanting to lash out at them,” the source says.

“It has also been circulating that Justin has been abusing steroids, and so if that is the case it will result in his aggression and aggressive tendencies. That’s something Scooter will definitely have to answer to.”

The source adds that anything having to do with the troubled singer’s “aggressive tendencies” will likely be discussed.

Mark DiCowden, the photographer’s lawyer set to depose the manager, confirms he’ll inquire about Justin’s erratic behavior.

“Scooter can be asked about anything that will go to prove that my client is just one of the many victims out there that has been attacked by Justin and his entourage,” Mr. DiCowden tells In Touch.

Binion is suing Justin and his bodyguard, Hugo Hesny, claiming the “Boyfriend” singer orchestrated an attack in which the bodyguard allegedly threw him against a wall, grabbed him by the throat and “displayed a gun” in an effort to steal his memory card during a June 2013 confrontation.
