In the Twilight saga, dreamy vampire Edward Cullen doesn’t age. Unfortunately, Robert Pattinson, the hunky 28-year-old Brit who brought the undead character to life, does—which means Twi-hards shouldn’t be holding their breath waiting for him to revive his character on the big screen.

“I couldn’t do another Twilight movie,” Rob told Variety at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

He was at the esteemed festival promoting his upcoming flick Maps to the Stars—which shows off a more mature side of the actor.

During a press conference, he was asked to compare Maps to the Stars and his previous film Cosmopolis—and rate which costar (Julianne Moore* and Juliette Binoche, respectively) he had a better in-car sex scene with.
