The allegations are getting serious in Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel‘s custody battle with ex-husband Jason Hoppy. During day three of the court case, the reality star even accused her daughter’s father of having “tortured” her while he was testifying. Despite the fact that her ex-husband was the one on the stand, Bethenny couldn’t help but interrupt with an emotional outburst that had her reprimanded by the judge. On Wednesday, May 15, Radar Online broke the news of the interaction.

The accusation came out while Jason, 47, was testifying about interviews that his ex had given about the state of the marriage. He was explaining that he was “furious” that Bethenny, 48, was sharing their dirty laundry with the press when she shouted, “You tortured me. You tortured me!” The judge had to step in and admonish her, saying, “Ms. Frankel, this is Mr. Hoppy’s testimony.” He even ordered a break so tempers could cool, leaving the Real Housewives star to take a breather from the courtroom.

But even outside, she didn’t calm down. Radar reports that she was then seen telling her new boyfriend, Paul Bernon, “[Jason] tortured me and is lying!” This isn’t the first time she’s made such allegations. In March, the star claimed that her ex had used her attempts to FaceTime with her 9-year-old daughter, Bryn, “as a tool to harrass [her] and assault [her].” She even went as far as using the word “torture” as she did in court in May. “Jason would use FaceTime calls to taunt me, abuse me,” she testified. “Just basic torture and taunting every day.”

She also opened up about being “systematically abused,” leading her to hire a criminal attorney to act against her ex. “I was getting hundreds and hundreds of emails. I was afraid it was affecting my daughter’s emotional well being. I felt like what he was doing was illegal. I was abused, and I knew it was no longer a custody issue,” she claimed. Her experiences with her ex-husband led her to believe that Bryn would be better off if she had full custody. “Bethenny wants her daughter Bryn with her every day,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “She knows it’s an uphill battle and Jason isn’t going away, but she doesn’t give up. … She’s adamant about fighting for full custody because she strongly believes Bryn is better off with her.”
