Training to the next level! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice revealed on Instagram he is now working out with MMA trainers in Italy. The 47-year-old uploaded several videos and pictures of himself boxing. “Getting ready to shed some pasta,” he captioned a photo of himself in the ring. In another clip, he said, “We are here with some really — first day training here with some real MMA trainers, right here in Salerno.” Then, Joe — who was wearing a white T-shirt with black shorts and black sneakers — punched and kicked several bags during his workout.
Of course, Joe’s followers couldn’t help but praise the reality star for his work ethic. One person wrote, “Keep kicking butt, Joe! You look amazing … Best of luck to you and your family. I hope you all [get] together ASAP!!!” while another echoed, “You look great, Joe! Keep going, your happiness is showing!” A third chimed in, writing, “He’s a beast and good guy!!!! Joe [is] the man.”
It’s no surprise that Joe is keeping up his fitness regimen since after he was released from ICE custody in October, he shocked his friends and family by losing a lot of weight in prison. Even Joe’s wife, Teresa Giudice, is impressed with his new physique. “He worked out the whole time while he was away, like twice a day,” she told In Touch exclusively at BravoCon on November 15. “Yeah, no, that’s what he loves to do. He’s going to keep working out. If anything, he’s not working as much as he was working out. In there, that’s all you do.” Just a few days earlier, Joe shared a video of himself working on his lower body on social media. “Leg day,” he captioned the clip while he showed off his exercise moves.
Teresa, 47, and her daughters — Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10, whom she shares with Joe — just returned from visiting the dad of four overseas. Despite their relationship being a little rocky, it seems like the brunette babe enjoyed spending time with her man. “I was so happy. I was happy he was free. I was happy. My daughters were so happy. It was just very, very, very emotional,” she revealed.
Joe was released from federal prison in March after he served a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. He was then immediately transferred to ICE custody, but a judge granted his request to return to Italy — where he was born — so he can live there until there is an update in his deportation case.
Even though Joe isn’t with his wife and kids, it’s safe to say he is taking care of his body!
