The drama continues in real life. Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is suing Kelly Dodd for defamation, according to documents obtained by In Touch. Vicki filed her lawsuit on Friday, November 1, after Kelly made some allegations and comments about Vicki, amid their ongoing feud on the hit Bravo reality TV series.

Vicki, 57, claimed during filming, Kelly, 44, made defamatory comments about her: “You prey on older people,” “You are a con woman” and “You engaged in ‘fraud.’” Initially, Vicki included Bravo and its parent company, NBCUniversal, in the complaint but she later dismissed both the network and the company from the lawsuit.

The Coto Insurance CEO claims the allegations Kelly made are false and that they could “damage her reputation and livelihood,” hurting her career outside of the series if the network airs them on national television. Vicki is seeking an injunctive relief and damages, stating that she doesn’t want the entire episode to be pulled from the air, but that producers just remove the comments Kelly made about Vicki being a “con woman” from the episode.

While the episode has not aired or been teased yet via previews, an insider told Us Weekly that the season 14 reunion is set to film on Friday, November 8. The cast members are given the final episodes of the series to watch before they arrive at the taping, according to the source, so “that’s likely how Vicki saw it was included.”

Kelly and Vicki have been involved in an ongoing feud ever since last season of RHOC. During the explosive season 13 reunion, which aired last November, Vicki accused Kelly of “doing cocaine.” At the time, an insider exclusively revealed to In Touch that Kelly had demanded Vicki be fired from the show.

“This is a nightmare for the PR because Kelly is very important to the show,” the insider said at the time. “She starts all the s–t but she is always justified in her actions. Vicki has been there since day one. They are hoping to fix this and have the two ladies mediate but Kelly has made up her mind. Vicki goes or she walks.”

When Vicki returned to RHOC for season 14, she was demoted to a “friend” role.
