Over the last day, news broke that Love & Hip Hop: New York star Remy Ma‘s younger sister was arrested for her involvement in a shooting. Allegedly, witnesses saw Remeesha Alesia Blount, who is the younger of Remy Ma’s two sisters, shoot a woman in a bar parking lot. It’s also claimed that she shot into the car of three women who were attempting to flee the scene, and that the driver then accidentally ran over the woman who’d been shot while attempting to escape. But that’s not the only attempted — or completed — murder to strike reality TV. In fact, there has actually been a number of real life tragedies involving the stars of reality shows — including the time Remy Ma herself shot another woman during an argument and was sentenced to eight years in jail. Check out the video below to see more reality-related murders.

Luckily for Remy and her sister, the woman Remeesha shot survived and is recovering in the hospital, was the case in Remy’s own crime. Unluckily for Remeesha, The News & Observer in Raleigh, NC reports that the rapper’s sister has been charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, three counts of assault with the weapon with intent to kill, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm in the city. She’s been held without bail and has previous pending charges she’ll also have to contend with, meaning this isn’t her first time getting in trouble with the law. Remy Ma has yet to comment on the incident, but she has posted on social media about her sister before.

The two have seemed close in the past, so we can’t help but be curious to see how the LHHNY star will react now, especially in light of the six years of jail time she herself served for a shooting. Unfortunately, it’s not the only tragedy that she’s likely still dealing with. A year ago, Remy and her husband Papoose revealed on the show that they had suffered a miscarriage and they opened up about their loss in an exclusive interview with In Touch. She’s also faced rumors of a cheating scandal before and a savage feud with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj. Here’s hoping that, in the future, she can keep her name in the headlines for her fire diss tracks, and not true crime news.
