Reality stars Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar have admitted that they're trying for a 20th baby, despite major health risks.
The Arkansas-based couple, who stars on TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, say that they're actively trying for another baby despite a heartbreaking miscarriage last year. Their 19th child, Josie, was born premature and faced physical complications that required surgery.
"I would be so grateful if the Lord blessed us with another one," Michelle said in an interview with the website Celebrity Baby Scoop. "We're trying at this point and we shall see if that is a possibility. If not, we are so thankful and grateful for the ones that God has given us so far."
The deeply religious couple belong to a movement known as Quiverfull, which means they don't use birth control and intend to have as many children as they can. "Saying there are too many children is like saying there are too many flowers," Michelle once said on the show, quoting Mother Teresa.
Jim Bob and Michelle's 19 kids, all of whom have names beginning with the letter J, range in age from 3 to 25.
Oldest son Josh is married with three children of his own, and the family recently announced that daughter Jessa, 20, is now "courting" a young man. In the Duggars' community, courtship is a supervised dating period intended to see if a couple should get married.
