Rumors about Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown’s sexuality have been all over the Internet lately. And just recently, the youngest star of the hit reality show addressed the fact that people think she’s gay. It was a comment from a fan that led the 15-year-old to clarify.
Rain took to Instagram to post a sweet message to her fans. “When you smile at someone and they smile back do you think they see the ‘ugly’ face you see?” she asked. “ No they see a beautiful gesture of kindness and happiness, so why should you ever see something bad? And maybe some people don’t like your smile say it’s too big or say you laugh too loud, but really.. that’s like saying you’re too happy or you found that too funny, and the answer to the question can you really have too much of a good thing? And the answer is no, not if it is truly good. So laugh and smile and see yourself as the beautiful unique quirky lovable you that you are.”

It was in the comments section that followers began to speculate. “Are you gay?” one asked, while another added, “I have wondered the same thing but she never answers questions so you can only judge by appearance and the statement that she said she can’t get her hair short enough and all the rainbows on her posts.” But Rain did respond, saying “ No I’m straight. And I call my fans rainbows because my name is Rain, but you do you boo ?.”
Rain is no stranger to fans sharing their two cents with her. Just earlier this month, she was slammed for her tribute post to her parents’ birthday. Fans took issue with the post because, though it was a tribute to her parents, the picture was just of her. “Happy birthday to the amazing man that has put up with this mess (and six others) for so many years, I hope your day has been wonderful daddy!” she wrote in the caption.
“Why is it a picture of you and not your mom and dad if it’s their birthday?” one fan asked, while another added, “Happy bday to your dad but you post a pic of yourself lol, Okay.” Looks like the reality star just can’t win when it comes to social media!
