Producers Spill the Tea on Javi and Briana’s Fight Before Her Mommy Makeover Surgery: “It Was Very Tense”
Tension was brewing! Several fans remember the heated argument between Javi Marroquin and his former flame Briana DeJesus before her mommy makeover surgery, and now we’re finding out all the behind-the-scenes drama in a new clip for Teen Mom: Producers Tell All. The MTV crew finally spilled all the tea on the fight that occured between the exes in Miami.
“It’s just really awkward in there,” one producer admitted. “Originally, when Briana was getting her surgery and she and Javi were together, and he was going to come to Miami.” Shortly after that, the pair broke up and Briana informed them that Javi wasn’t going to be there anymore. The producer explained: “She had Dre, her ex-flame, coming down to help her instead.” At the time, Javi decided to make the trip anyways to see Briana and when he showed up, it was very “tense” because they hadn’t seen each other since their split.
“I was really confused and we we’re all really confused as to what happened,” the producer concluded. Javi was not pleased to find out Briana’s ex-boyfriend was there in his place. However, Javi later had to face backlash of his own from Briana’s mom Roxanne. “Perfect timing before surgery with a camera crew here,” she said. “I think you’re an OK guy. I don’t think you’re great. I think you’re sneaky and I think you methodically plan things out. Why [did] you come in so fast? Why the proposal when you should have waited?”
Briana went to Dr. Miami for her procedures, nearly seven months after welcoming her second child. Briana opted for a breast lift with implant exchange, a tummy tuck, and another Brazilian butt lift. “Javi and I are not together anymore,” she told Blasting News before going under the knife. “He doesn’t want me to get my surgery, which I’m doing in two weeks, because it’ll look bad on his name at work. Also, I don’t plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me.” It looks like it worked out for the best!
