Royal Fans Have Taken Aim at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Once Again and This Time It’s Over … a Birthday Wish?
Happy Birthday, Prince George! Or should we say His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking the heat for how they addressed the future king.
On Monday, July 22, the Kensington Royals, Kate Middleton and Prince William, celebrated the now 6-year-old’s birthday by releasing a series of photos of the tot. One photo was taken on a family vacation and highlights his toothless grin. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined in on the well-wishes. “Happy Birthday 🎂🎈! Wishing you a very special day and lots of love!” commented the Sussex Royals. How sweet! So, what is all the hubbub about? Did they not use enough emojis? A gif perhaps?
Welp, it looks like people were unhappy with how Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, addressed the future king. “@sussexroyals, he is a Prince and future King of The United Kingdom. He deserves to be respected,” read one comment, while another stated, “MEGHAN is obsessed with princess Diana BUT shows no respect for her beloved son William.” Um, may we remind you that he is only six?!
The comments continued with remarks such as, “Happy birthday to who? He is HRH PRINCE GEORGE!!!! Future King!” and “His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge he is the future King and to be your King.” One person even trolled Meghan for her acting background writing, “They still have to show deference and respect to him. It is the British royal family, not some Hollywood film set!”
Again, people, HE IS SIX. Yes, one day little Prince George will be King, and Meghan very well could be feeding him grapes on a golden throne, but right now, he is a tot and they are his aunt and uncle. The new parents to Archie have yet to respond to the backlash of the comment.
