‘Boy Meets World’ Star Maitland Ward Loves Reading ‘Erotic Bedtime Stories’ to Her Subscribers
For those of you who grew up watching Boy Meets World, it’s likely that Maitland Ward is a familiar face. After all, who could ever forget the quirky Rachel McGuire? That said, Maitland, 42, has come a long way since starring on the hit ‘90s sitcom. Speaking exclusively with In Touch, Maitland provided a detailed update on her life today, including a thriving career in the porn industry.
With the striking actress appearing in her first-ever adult feature film, Drive, Maitland explained how her role in the movie affected her in real life. Because Maitland has always played “lighter,” more comedic characters, this part allowed her to experience the “sexy” and “dark” sides of herself.
“I would love to do more of that,” Maitland admitted. “For my subscribing members and stuff like that, I will tell erotic bedtime stories and I will just read them. It’s really fun to just tell these dark stories and just be this sensual kind of person just reading these erotic things,” she continued. “I have done that kind of stuff recently. So I like that, but I would love to explore more and doing these kinds of sensual, dark characters. I think it is a part of me that I really love to get up.”
Even if Maitland has been greatly influenced by her character in Drive, stepping outside of her comfort zone wasn’t always a walk in the park. “It’s not easy flogging somebody while delivering monologues!” she confessed, adding, “Like. trying to get it right on the spot t… that [was] the hardest scene, I think.”
Flogging aside, Maitland found ways to really get into character, particularly when it came to her wardrobe. “I wore this beautiful corset — it was just very stylized, so when I got into that I felt very slinky and very sensual with the whole stockings and heels and even the embodiment,” she recalled. “I don’t smoke, but the whole movie, she has to smoke these fake, herbal cigarettes or whatever, but even that, I was like, ‘Oh, I get to feel a difference, so I can embody that character.’”
