The father-of-four is the son of Armenian immigrant, Petros Palandjian, whose real estate corporation has a major hand in property and investment management, with more than $6 billion in institutional real estate assets.

Peter credits the firm's success to his father. “My dad loved people,” he said. “He saw a magic in them, almost to a fault sometimes. My father set a culture that, 57 years later, still permeates the company.”
The wealthy businessman also made a few bucks as a professional tennis player, but not nearly as much as in real estate. He retired in 1989 and reportedly earned $30,728 in prize money.
Meanwhile, Peter's soon-to-be-wife is earning a decent living in her own right. The star is worth a cool $10 million.
