Aww‘OutDaughtered’ Star Danielle Busby Admits She ‘Didn’t Want a Dog’ But Is Now ‘Obsessed’ With Beaux
She came around! Danielle Busby took to Instagram on Thursday, April 25, to reveal her husband, Adam Busby, was the one who wanted a dog. That said, the OutDaughtered star, 35, is now head over heels for the family’s sweet pup.
“Y’all!! I’m obsessed with this dog … ” she wrote on her Story. “Why did Buzz get him? I didn’t want a dog lol.” But now the mom-of-six can’t get enough. “Good morning, guys. When Blayke goes to school, Bubba comes with us,” she said in the clip.
Adam, 36, announced the exciting news via Instagram on Sunday, April 7. “We had such a great Hawaiian Luau party to celebrate our six little princesses’ birthday yesterday,” he gushed. “It was also the grand entrance to the girls’ new SURPRISE brother (@beauxbuzz). Our newest addition. He is a blue/ tan miniature French bulldog and his name is Beaux!”
And while the pup *did* come as quite the surprise, the famous fam hinted in January 2018 that they may get a fur baby soon. “It’s so sad seeing the many animals displaced and affected by Hurricane Harvey at local animal shelters,” Adam wrote at the time. “We may not be quite ready for one of our own just yet, but we were able to spend a few hours at a local shelter walking and playing with a few. The girls sure seemed to enjoy it and hopefully, it was a great change of pace for the animals.”
But fans of the famous fam are struggling with how to pronounce his name. “Beaux meets his cousin Meaux … was the cutest thing ever,” Danielle captioned a shot of her oldest daughter with the two pooches on April 14. Aww.
In response, one fan commented, “This is so cute!!! How do you pronounce Beaux?” Others chimed in with, “@dbusby is that pronounced like boo or bow lol,” and “So is Meaux pronounced Mo?” Luckily, D set the record straight, simply writing, “Bo” on the original comment. Noted!
Lucky for Adam, he’s got a bit more testosterone in the house these days. After all, having a set of all-girl quints, 4, and a daughter, 8, can’t be easy. No wonder he wanted a lil male companionship!
