"So, I think that for us, it was an intense and just a wild ride. Still, though, we shot it over six months, so I imagine that for viewers it’s going to be even that much more intense."

What is the 'Orange Is the New Black' Season 5 plot?

Without giving too much away, the upcoming season will take a slightly different format than previous seasons. Danielle Brooks — aka Taystee — revealed that the viewers can expect a lot more drama in Season 5's storyline.

"Season 5 is done over the course of three days," Danielle told The Hollywood Reporter. "You will watch 13 episodes, and find out what happens in the course of three days. So, it will be very detailed, very intense, and you better get ready. Get your popcorn, your tissues, everything."
